1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Verbito ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. License
Verbito is licensed, not sold, to you for use strictly in accordance with these terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Osprey Applications LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control.
3. Verbito Pro Purchase
Verbito offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Verbito Pro") that unlocks additional content, including all verb tenses and milestone stories. Verbito Pro is not a subscription — it is a single purchase that permanently unlocks the content on your Apple account.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple account using the "Restore Purchases" option.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Educational Content
Verbito provides Spanish-language learning content, including practice sentences, conjugation references, and short stories. While we strive for accuracy, the content is provided for educational purposes and we do not warrant that it is free of errors. If you spot a mistake, please let us know and we will correct it.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or bundled content of the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, sentence corpus, stories, and audio, is the property of Osprey Applications LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osprey Applications LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app.
9. Termination
These terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Osprey Applications LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
